The Banana Bomb The banana bomb is a stable high explosive, so it can be jarred or dropped without exploding. To detonate it, a blasting cap must be used. Materials: 3 Peeled Bananas 1 Potato Masher 1 Cookie Sheet Blasting Cap Procedure Mash up the bananas real good using the potato masher. Then form the bananas into the desired shape. Plop the mass onto the cookie sheet and bake at 450 degrees for 90 minutes. Be sure to keep an eye on it in case it begins to smoke! This is a bad sign! Usage: Attach the Blasting Cap to the Banana Bomb. Stay at least 20 feet away from the bomb when detonating. If structures such as bridges and supporting beams are to be destroyed, place the bomb at the base of the target and pack sandbags around it.
